    said one judge.

  • HORSES BANNED FROM OVAL
    In a concession to the wowser party
    the local brumby herd has been banned
    from the local oval due to their 
    promiscious activities.

  • STASH OF MOONSHINE FOUND
    During routine clearing of the camp
    the remanents of an illegal still 
    was uncovered which dates back to when 
    the camp was a low security prison
    farm in the 1970's. Some earthen jars 
    of liquid were also uncovered 
    and are being investigated.

Laurel Hill Forest Lodge is the ideal venue for school camps, Duke of Ed treks, family reunions, weddings, birthday parties, team building workshops, conferences, club getaways, religious retreats or just a quiet weekend with friends away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The Laurel Hill Forest Lodge offers eight accommodation units, each with their own living area, toilets and bathrooms, and sleeping quarters for between 10 and 20 people in either twin or single rooms.

In addition there is a dining complex were we offer healthy menu options using as much local produce as possible. We can meet a variety of special dietary needs.

Other facilities include a large recreation room ideal for group lectures, indoor games and other activities.

The spacious grounds surrounding Laurel Hill Forest Lodge also offer a number of recreational activities including several hectares of open fields suitable for ball games, a cement cricket pitch and a volley ball net.

There are a number of bush walking tracks starting at the Lodge, which allow you to explore the magnificent forests that make up the Laurel Hill region.
